I’m currently working on a documentary for Wiser by Design. I was lucky enough to join the recent Wiser retreat in Greece, and got to film the participants and teacher Alan Chapman. We were hosted by the beautiful Dragon’s Leap retreat centre. A couple of weeks in Greece is a pretty fine thing to do for work. I’m creating a documentary to record the retreat, explain what Wiser is all about, and also mark the occasion when the first Wiser practitioners completed their training.

October 2018

An annual event here in Stroud is the 5 Valley’s Walk – an event in support of Meningitis now. It’s a 22 mile walk around the gorgeous valley’s of Stroud, and this year I went along to do some filming and talk to some of the people who were involved in the event. The first video I produced was a simple ‘Thank you’ to everyone who had been involved.

If you get the chance, come and join the walk next year – there is beautiful scenery and a wonderful, supportive, atmosphere. Plus Meningitis now are doing wonderful work to fight Meningitis and support those affected by it.

Earlier work

Recently I worked with The Ramblers to create promotional videos for their Britain’s Best Walking Neighbourhood campaign. I travelled all over the country to meet enthusiastic volunteers to discuss why their neighbourhood was such a great one to work on.

Here is a little bit about each of the entrants –

I was happy to see that Hastings Old Town eventually won.

But I had a great time visiting different neighbourhoods, particularly Diglis, near Worcester:

And Kirkby Stephens, Cumbria – despite the rain.
